Corey Evan Thompson is the author of Alcohol in the Writings of Herman Melville: The Ever-Devilish God of Grog and of more than a dozen refereed scholarly articles on American, Canadian, and Victorian literature. He completed his undergraduate andprofessional degrees at Nipissing University and his graduate work at the University of Windsor.
