Lisa hails from a patriotic family. Her father and older brother proudly served in the United States Army, and her husband is a Navy veteran. As a special needs teacher, Lisa many times encountered people whose bravery in the face of daily challenges went unheralded but never unnoticed.Facing current circumstances or limitations places many at an immediate disadvantage, and we have no other choice but to be brave. Other times, our choices place us squarely in the dilemma of fight or flight. Either way, without resources or guidance, it's a monumental task to be brave.Lisa is proud of every person who, through their individual tests of courage, gets on with living their life to the fullest.
