Sharon Jordan Womick lives in central North Carolina, USA, with her husband and a menagerie of four-legged companions and is the proud mother of two grown daughters. She loves spending time in the woods, swimming (wherever there is water), doing art - from turning trash into treasures, to drawing, painting, and sewing. She is a master gardener and has a knack for working on mechanical items. She facilitated support groups for NAMI and was also certified as a Peer Support Specialist. She has a BA degree in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and has worked or volunteered as a journalist, a janitor, an EMT, and a gardener.
