Emilio Salgari (1862-1911) è stato uno scrittore italiano di fama, considerato uno dei più importanti scrittori di avventure della letteratura italiana. Nacque a Verona e iniziò la sua carriera come giornalista, ma presto si dedicò alla scrittura di romanzi d'avventura. Tra le sue opere più famose ci sono "Le tigri di Mompracem", "Il Corsaro Nero", "Sandokan" e "Jolanda la figlia del Corsaro Nero". La sua scrittura è caratterizzata da uno stile appassionante e coinvolgente, e la sua abilità nella descrizione dei personaggi e dei paesaggi ha reso i suoi libri un'esperienza coinvolgente e appassionante. Emilio Salgari morì nel 1911, ma lasciò un'eredità duratura nella letteratura italiana e continua ad essere amato e apprezzato ancora oggi.
