This is Albert L. Feldstein's 28th work since 1980 that chronicles the various historical aspects of Western Maryland-Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties-as well as nearby West Virginia. As always, Feldstein provides a comprehensive, informative, and visually entertaining portrayal of the county's history and heritage. Along with historic photographs and postcards, Feldstein is an avid collector of political campaign and protest buttons.
