Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA) is an allergic pulmonary disorder caused by hypersensitivity to Aspergillus fumigatus clinically manifesting as chronic asthma, recurrent pulmonary infiltrates, and bronchiectasis. This book highlights the prevalence of ABPA in the arid regions of the south-east Asian country, India. The relation between allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and factors like age, sex, occupation, family history of asthma, socioeconomic status in the Indian subcontinent are addressed by the author.
