Engenheiro Eletrônico pela Universidade Técnica Federico Santa María (1975). Desde julho de 1994 é Diretor da Artesol, Artesanos Solares da V Região, membro da equipe do programa Ecologia e Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Corporação El Canelo de Nos.
