With this being a book and all, you can expect at least some of the main characters to die, but the rest should be absolutely fine, come the last few pages, or so. I'd say, by Chapter Eleven, tops. Alone / Together marks director-layabout, Rich Lawden's third attempt at writing, and also his first novella, so try not to expect too much for your money.
