While writing my series of books, I took great liberties to make it seem as real as possible. Removing the sensitivity to silver and giving my werewolves mortal ways of dying, brings out the true struggle to survive as a pack. Having vampires able to walk in the sun but showing them as just pumped up as humans that can also die as easily as the werewolves. Lastly, the mages' ability to draw radiation we are immune to from the earth and sun to power their spells, was not an easy concept to rationalize. It was a great challenge and honor to have written these books. I hope they bring great entertainment and new visions to our reading culture.
