[Alterity ans Language Outline of a Theology of Leavement]
My draft of a theology of leaving aims to address God's connection to concrete reality. God is perceived critically and taken seriously in faith as an expression of absolute difference. In the field of tension between philosophy and theology, I develop a basic plan of theology that is based on the mutual relationship between alterity (Emmanuel Levinas) and language (Paul Ricoeur) as well as utopia (F.-W. Marquardt) and confession (Hans-Christoph Askani). Using an interdisciplinary discussion, I try to leave familiar systems of thought and language and work out which (theological) language does justice to the talk about God.
