Livestock sectors play an important role in the national economy and in the socio-economic development of the country. In order meet large requirement of animal protein globally, Pig production can be an alternative means of producing high quality proteins for human consumption. In most of the poor and developing countries livestock production systems are mainly based on low cost agro by products and forages as nutritional inputs. In this system swine rearing fits very well. In developing countries, there is still a shortage and thus high price of both energy sources and protein rich feedstuffs. Hence, the maximum economic return is normally the principal goal of farmers instead of diets optimum quality and quantity. Therefore, keeping all these aspects in mind an effort would be made to utilize green Berseem with kitchen waste and concentrate as feed for economic pig rearing to extent feasible in pig ration without affecting the performance adversely.
