Autorenporträt
TJ Johnston founded the Kung Fu Club at Cal State University Fullerton in 1971 under Sifu Ted Lai. Under his leadership, the club adopted full contact sparring (before MMA). He became an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor in 1986 and created his business AllSafe Defense System. This allowed him to combine defensive firearms with unarmed self-defense training. In 1990, Mr. Johnston was appointed a Training Counselor by the NRA and began training instructors. He is also credentialed as a Chief Range Safety Officer and an online Professor for the NRA's Refuse to be a Victim program.
