Dr. Judes Poirier is a professor of medicine and psychiatry at McGill, and director of the molecular neurobiology unit at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. His pioneering work in biomedical research into the causes and treatments of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease has earned him several prestigious awards. He lives in Blaineville, Quebec. Dr. Serge Gauthier is a professor of neurology and neurosurgery, psychiatry, and medicine at McGill University. He has been a researcher at the Montreal Neurological Hospital, director of the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging, and research chair in the Canadian Institutes for Health Research program. He lives in Hudson Heights, Quebec.
