A prodigal son returns back to his childhood home to learn that old stories never die. Jameson Clarkson's career is launching into another stratosphere as he was given the golden opportunity to move back to Pittsburgh to catapult his career as Dr. Black Love-a persona he created that gives advice to a predominantly black audience that he grew through social media. His two childhood best friends welcome him back with open arms, Eero and Kolby. All three of the men have found success in adulthood, remaining close despite operating in different career paths. As is the case with most secrets, eventually they come to light. As a childhood secret is thrust into the light, their friendship and freedom are both put to the test. Autorenporträt
J.C. Benson was never one to take the traditional route. Even as a kid growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was an outlier and unique. As many youth growing up in the inner city he gravitated towards sports and eventually earned a full scholarship playing college basketball. Along the way though, he would always gravitate towards another love of his, storytelling. Rather it be short stories, poetry or the like he would express his thoughts and feelings with a pen on paper. After graduating from college, he would go on to start a film production company. The company, Fear No Man Productions, would go on to produce several short films, two feature films and other productions as well. His work did well in film festivals and received many accolades yet never took off as he envisioned. After over a decade of hiatus from storytelling he is back and full of vigor and ready to show the world his talents. The new vision is simple yet complex, storytelling for our culture. There are many stories to tell in many different mediums and J.C. Benson is poised and ready for the journey.
