Amagasaki Station is a train station on the T kaid Main Line, Fukuchiyama Line and JR T zai Line of JR West, located in Amagasaki, Hy go Prefecture, Japan, opened in 1874. Until 1997, Amagasaki was only a local stop, but it has since become a major junction with the opening of the JR T zai Line. Today, all commuter trains and Fukuchiyama-bound limited express trains, stop here. Amagasaki is the official terminal of the Fukuchiyama Line and the JR T zai Line, but only direct rapid services originate from here via the JR T zai Line.
