Growing up, Alison O'Connor was always enthralled by the art of storytelling. She proceeded to obtain her Bachelor's degree in Illustration and then her Master's degree in Art Education. She has enjoyed various professions ranging from teacher to painter and a little bit of everything in-between. With a nod back to her childhood and drawing inspiration from her children, Lily and Grady, she decided to integrate her love for art and the spoken word through the creation of children's books. Currently, Alison resides in Mount Pleasant, SC with her husband, two children, and perhaps one too many dogs.
