A Derridian deconstructionist view of three of Gabriel García Márquez's masterpieces: The Incredible and Sad Tale of Innocent Erendira and Her Heartless Grandmother, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, and Love in the Time of Cholera. This postmodern application discusses an elimination of logocentric ("meaning" located easily within the text) reading, and suggests alternative ways of finding meaning in traditional genres.
