Autorenporträt
David Jordan writes fiction and poetry. David's poem "Portal" featured in International Poetry's Top 100 Poems of 2017. Born in former Yugoslavia during wartime, David's earliest memories consist of his family fleeing from his native country just to survive. Needless to say, this made a great impression on him and contributed to his perception of the world. He moved with his mother and father to Sydney, Australia in December of 1996 at just five years old. David rapidly learned the English language and became obsessed with all things sci-fi, fantasy and magic. Quickly becoming consumed by the Star Wars and Harry Potter universes - while very firmly being a truth hunter due to his experience in Yugoslavia - he knew that one day, he wanted to live in magical worlds just like that. They had to be real. He was sure of it. Well, he grew up and realised the next best thing; if they didn't exist, at least he could create them, however he liked. And create he did.
