American Killers - Volume 1: Nine Horrific True Crime Stories From The USA...And How They Were Solved *Blood, Sex and Death Henry Lee Lucas might just be the most evil and prolific killer ever. But it is equally possible his claims to have murdered hundreds of people could just be the product of his own highly inventive imagination. *Not Such a Perfect Murder It was intended to be the perfect crime, but the two gifted rich kids who murdered a 14-year-old boy were not as clever as they thought, and the police were hot on their trail within hours. *Sadistic Fiend Set Free To Kill Ed Kemper was just 15 years old when he murdered his grandparents. Sent to a mental institution he was released after only five years. It wasn't long before he began a brutal, sadistic killing spree that would claim eight more victims. *Whizz Kids Murder Jo Hunt was an ambitious, brash young conman with a charismatic personality who dreamed of making millions on the stock exchange. But when his plans failed, he turned to murder *Barry Pinsky - 'The TV Killer' A son, worried about the disappearance of his elderly parents, checked the family home. There he found them shot to death. They had no enemies; so who could have done it? *Serial Killer Cop Gerard Schaefer was a psychopathic killer who also happened to be a cop. Hired as a deputy in Martin County, he lured girls into the woods, where they were hanged, raped and murdered. *Hollywood Murder Scandals were rife during Hollywood's heyday, but the shooting of gay Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor in 1922 shook Tinseltown to its foundations and provided the plot for a murder mystery that would run for 64 years. *Gianni Versace - Fashion Victim From rock stars to royalty, some of the world's richest people would seek out the flamboyant Gianni Versace to design their clothes. But on a summer's morning in 1997, a crazed killer gunned him down outside his Miami home. *Murder in Millionaire County Westchester County, to the north of New York City, is far from poor. So when in May 1980 one of its leading citizens was brutally murdered by a teenage delinquent from a nearby reform school, a sense of outrage and fear swept through the community.
Autorenporträt
I was born in the UK and moved to Thailand over 19 years ago - the food is great. As for my career, well most of it is behind me now, but I've spent time in the military and traveled extensively - can't say more or I'll have to kill you :-) Although still working for a living I have plenty of spare time and energy. What do to with it I pondered for a while? It's too hot to work out, and I don't like alcohol enough to become an expert drinker (although I admit to trying occasionally). Become a writer I mused. Why not? Sounds easy enough, but where to start? All the good advice says to write about something you're passionate about. OK here goes - I love movies, reading, travel, music, the internet, TV, blah, blah, etc. What about gangsters, bad guys and ruthless women I hear you ask? Yep, love them, so I'll write about those and see if anybody likes my stories. I hope you do.
