"Dink, dink, dink came the audible chime of the aluminum baseball bat as I was bringing it down - breaking one of Randy's bones with every ringing swing!" American Outlaw: Price of Pride is a galvanizing adventure of non-stop pulse-pounding action that will take you on a roller-coaster ride through worlds that most people only see on the big screen. Peer through the eyes of Jimmy Maxwell as he takes you behind the violent prison walls and to the top of one of Oklahoma's most notorious and feared gangs. Be with him when he finally walks out of those cold institutional gates into the free world for the first time in 16 years! And stand with Jimmy - or against him - as the federal marshals go all out... to get him locked back behind them. American Outlaw is the first book in a non fictional, series on the life of the modern day outlaw Jimmy Maxwell. This autobiographical volume is uniquely framed around Jimmy's MSNBC 'Lockup' appearance, which not only brings the reader into the high-octane, adrenaline charged, and often thought provoking life of Jimmy Maxwell, but also how it feels to reveal his successes and failures on camera. This book contains violence, adult content and language which would not be appropriate for children. "American Outlaw is a raw and unapologetic journey into the world of one of Oklahoma's most notorious inmates. In sincere and colorful language, Jimmy Maxwell conveys the complex, bewildering - and sometimes terrifying - truth of time spent running from the Law." -Michael Mason, editor, This Land magazineHinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
. JIMMY MAXWELL currently resides in the state of Oklahoma. A true Outlaw, Jimmy has been in and out of prison since the age of eighteen. Over the years he fought his way to the top of one of the most feared gangs in Oklahoma. He has been featured on MSNBC's 'Lockup', and soon to be on Discovery channel's "I Almost Got Away With It". Jimmy has survived five different riots, and has escaped on multiple occasions from prison, jail and reform schools, as well as evading capture from the U.S. Marshals and the States Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, for months on end. He has narrowly avoided apprehension and death time and again... from which he now writes books and stories. Although Jimmy has since retired from gang life, he did so with honor and the blessing of those who love and are loyal to him, and still remains an extremely respected and influential member of the prison community on both State and Federal levels. He now uses his books, stories and influence to help others avoid the pitfalls of prison and drugs. Jimmy attends Tulsa Community College in pursuit of his literary career and is a dog trainer and animal activist, for Gone to the Dogs rescue program at DCCC and Parole-a-Pet (facebook). Teaching animals and humans alike, - there is a better way. - Justin Case, editor/admin, Prison from the Inside Out "My choices have cost me years of family, friends, freedom on the outside - and, a lot more - Let the bad choices I made be a chance for you not to follow my path. And if you're just a voyeur into this type of world - welcome to the jungle and what lies beyond a prison wall. I'll hold nothing back as I take you inside places people pray not to end up in. You'll be safe reading this from your world and be glad you're not participating in it. Let my life be the life you live vicariously through." - Jimmy Maxwell
