Chicago native author, Dr. Lisa Richardson Hassler, has been in the field of education for two decades with degrees in Elementary Education, Online Teaching and Learning, and Educational Leadership. She is state certified in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, and English Speakers of Other Languages. Her experience includes teaching first through fourth grades in public, private, and Montessori schools.Hassler was the recipient of the National Louis University 2022 Outstanding Dissertation Award in the category of Advancing Professional Practice. Reviewers commented on the many strengths of her dissertation, particularly her data analysis and the usability and strength of her recommendations. In 2019, she was nominated for the Golden Halo Award by her students and parents for being an inspiring Christian teacher. Her previous work includes Family Second Language Acquisition and An Evaluation of Virtual School's Preparation of Second Grade Student's for Third Grade Reading Proficiency.Lisa is a teacher in Florida and enjoys beekeeping with her husband.
