Autorenporträt
John McCarry received his BA from Yale in East Asian Studies. His writing has appeared in National Geographic and GEO and in the Pakistani news magazines Herald and Newsline. He is the author of County Fairs (National Geographic Society, 1997) and co-editor, along with Niilofur Farrukh and Amin Gulgee, of Pakistan's Radioactive Decade: An Informal Cultural History of the 1970s (Oxford University Press, 2019.) He has served as coordinator of the Amin Gulgee Gallery in Karachi since its inception in 2000.
