Author Paul Jackson Jr.'s roots begin in Amite County, Mississipppi, where he was born. Jackson's stories are backed with information gleaned from letters his father wrote while serving in World War II and his own from Vietnam. With photos included, Amite County offers a historical look into one family's origins and presents the stories of their lives.
