Afterwards, the discussion of amnesty in Brazil is presented, focusing on the international dimension of the debate, including the judgement of the Amnesty Law by the Federal Supreme Court (STF). Next, the debate on amnesty in Argentina is introduced, also with an international focus, presenting the Supreme Court's decision on the issue. Finally, it concludes that a change is needed in Brazil's view of transitional justice.
