Dr. Selvam Kannathasan, Privatdozent, gehört zur Abteilung für Parasitologie der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Sein Forschungsinteresse gilt der medizinischen Parasitologie, insbesondere der Amöbiasis.
