Clara Dillingham Pierson was married to John W. S. Pierson. They lived in Stanton in the early 1900s. She was a kindergartner and an author of children's books. He owned a hardware store. The home they lived in is now the Free Evangelical church on North Lincoln Street in Stanton, Michigan.
