If you, or someone you love, is gay or lesbian, bisexual or pansexual, is God opposed to you or your loved one? Does the Bible actually condemn same-sex desire and same-sex intimacy? Do our sacred texts have anything whatsoever to say about transgender or gender nonconforming people? "An "Abomination" in the Sight of the Lord" is a mix of compelling stories and poetry, that highlight what it is to live at the intersection of religion and non-heterosexual orientation, and scripture translation work that answers the question of what the Bible, in its original languages, actually says.
