With the selection of George Walker Bush as President by the Supreme Court, a very significant point was reached in American history. The disputed election that was decided by the Supreme Court by a vote of 5 to 4, which under the Constitution has no authority to select a President, put into power a group of neoconservatives who used the 9/11 event to become engaged in two prolonged wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
