Autorenporträt
Joel retired in 2015 after 48 years in the computer industry, chiefly in software, and holds a half-dozen patents ranging from CPU architecture to file systems. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barabara in 1966 with a double major in Mathematics and English literature. His favorite thing to write is the sonnet and this work includes several which are also acrostics. Joel is the father of four, Lutheran, and privileged to be the husband of JoAnn (Glittenberg) Hinrichs, a renowned cultural anthropologist.
