One of the most important modern aspects of cultural and linguistic democratization in Morocco is the reintegration of the Amazigh culture and language (29th July 2011 Constitution). Hence, along with this symbolic development in dealing with authentic national cultural and linguistic components, the urgent need to contribute academically to the collection, study, and print of research studies related to the Amazigh culture and language came to the fore. Therefore, this research project came as a reaction to the necessity to collect the Amazigh cultural heritage and the need to preserve and promote the Amazigh language. To that end, this research, which is an attempt to collect and produce an Amazigh/English/Arabic dictionary of handcrafts terms, can be considered an academic contribution to the enrichment of the Moroccan cultures and languages field with a study that collects disappearing Amazigh terminology used in the domain of traditional handcrafts and are relatively still being used (spoken) among people residing mountainous tribes in the region of Azilal; a province located in the heart of the Middle Atlas mountains in Morocco.
