However, when she gets home after school she discovers that the missing ring has been put in her pencil case and she is rather shocked and confused by this. More revelations occur at the end of the story when Jodie gets to meet a new girl from next door who has just moved in called Connie. Jodie soon discovers that they share a unique secret with one another; they each have their own angel who is with them whenever they need support and friendship.
