Autorenporträt
Mirza Iqbal Ashraf is a retired professor of English Language and Literature. He taught both graduate and post-graduate students and lectured on English language, literature, and philosophical issues in his native Pakistan. Since immigrating to the United States of America, he works as an independent research scholar of world philosophies, sociopolitical, cross-cultural, and inter-faith subjects. He is author of following published books: 1. Introduction to World Philosophies: A Chronological Progression. 2. Rumi's Holistic Humanism: The Timeless Appeal of the Great Mystic Poet 3. Islamic Philosophy of War and Peace. 4. Diversity and Unity in Islamic Civilization. 5. Human Existence and Identity in Modern Age: A Socio-philosophical Reflection Ashraf holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, and Bachelor's degree of Honours in Persian language, literature, and Islamic Philosophy. He lives in New York.
