Autorenporträt
Loren VanGalder entered ministry in 1977 with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship on the campuses of the City University of New York. He went on to found and direct Servant Ministries in New York City. In 1986 he started work with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. His ministry as Chaplain took him to five prisons throughout the US and Puerto Rico. Since retirement in 2008 he has continued mentoring inmates, ex-inmates (many now in ministry), and other young men, in part through his books and popular blog on his websites (ASpiritualFather.com and UnPadreEspiritual.com). He and his wife reside in Costa Rica, where he is involved in various ministries.
