The rate of unemployment among graduates that passed through the National Youth Service Corps scheme is alarming, considering what Government has put in place through National Youth Service Corps Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (NYSC SAED) in making corps members to be self-reliant and employable in the labor market. Three research questions and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Structural Functionalist theory was adopted as the theoretical framework for the study along with a Correlational research design with structured questionnaires given to two hundred and eighty respondents (280) selected from fourteen local government areas of the state using purposive sampling technique. Data collected were analyzed through Pearson Product Moment Correlational coefficient (PPMC) to determine the rate of relationship between the two variables.
