Helen and her husband Derrick Koon are both Chinese who were born in Hong Kong but immigrated to Canada as young professionals. Helen is an occupational therapist and Derrick is a computer software engineer.They met and married in Toronto, Canada in 1994 and their son Elliott was born in 1998 before they moved to Foster City ( 30 min south of San Francisco, California, USA). They are both Christians and they intend to raise their son in a warm Christian home. The arrival of Elliott has completely changed their lives. While they both desire to transform their workplace by bringing the presence of God in their scope of influence, creating software and touching people's lives, Helen is also passionate about going to the nations and setting the captives free and healing the broken hearted. They have lived and worked in many different countries and enjoy traveling.
