Gladys Kerubo Gesengi was born in Kisii highland in rural Western Kenya. Her early education was taken in Nyabururu Girls High School,& later pursued her first degree in IT & MBA(Entrepreneurship) from the United States International University,thereafter attained a certificate in Instructional Design from the Open University of Philippines & GIZ.
