Autorenporträt
Credit for the book's concept is due WJBF NewsChannel 6. The station enlisted the knowledge of the dean of local historians, Dr. Edward J. Cashin, and the resources of the Augusta Museum of History, Historic Augusta, Inc., and the Richmond County Historical Society to move the project toward fruition. Yet, a robust public response to the call for old photographs made An Augusta Scrapbook a reality. The book is a tribute both to Augusta's past and the present generation interested in preserving it.
