Lynn Maria Thompson has been working with authors for over 20 years, ghostwriting, editing their book manuscripts, and helping them develop their book marketing plans. Her own article writing has won multiple awards from the Florida Writers' Association, Promoting Outstanding Writers, PULSE, and the Cat Writers' Association. Prior to founding Thompson Writing & Editing in 2002, she worked for a directory publisher for 23 years, serving as yellow pages headings manager for a few of those years. She was a contributing author to the McGraw-Hill Recycling Handbook, Second Edition and has written and edited for several magazines including Jax Islander, North Florida Doctor, Mature Matters, and Jacksonville Homebuyer. Lynn is the author of several books of her own: An Author's Guide to Online Marketing, An Author's Guide to Literary Genres, The Feline CEO, and the A Professional Writer's Ladder to Success series of ebooks, soon to be updated and re-released. She often speaks about the craft of writing and marketing your work at writers' conferences and to corporations and other groups on topics related to her leadership book, The Feline CEO.
