Wendy M. Kok was raised in a small, resort town in northern Wisconsin. Her parents owned and entertained a summer resort for over twenty years. It was there that she learned to fish, appreciate wildlife, and forge friendships over the years with people that would often come and stay year after year. This upbringing was the inspiration for her debut novel, 'A Grey Resort' which was launched July 29th, 2019 to critical acclaim. This is the second book in the series entitled, 'A Thousand Years of Crooked Forest'. Wendy has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University. 2020 American Fiction Awards - 'A Grey Resort' book was honored as a 'Winner' in the Romance/Paranormal Category 2021 August - Wendy is one of several authors that have contributed to the Anthology Book: Thriving Beyond Crises: Conversations with Resilient Entrepreneurs >Wendy loves spending time with her family and friends, and loves spending long hours looking for Petoskey stones during the Michigan summers.
