There was a joint effort where everyone carried out a participatory environmental management indicator, helping to raise awareness of environmental issues. This book therefore emphasises the need to sensitise dairy farmers to the importance of carrying out an activity with a lower environmental impact, highlighting the need to pay attention to the disposal of waste and residues.

Thales has a Master's degree in Geography from the Postgraduate Programme in Geography at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Specialist in Environmental Education from the Graduate Programme in Environmental Education at UFSM. He graduated in Geography from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Jonas is a Forestry Engineer from UFSM.
