Colin Wilson was a renowned criminologist and TV and radio personality and one of the most popular and respected writers on both criminology and psychology. His first book, The Outsider (1956), was an instant bestseller and still influences the study of sociology today. He wrote more than one hundred books, including A Criminal History of Mankind, A Plague of Murder , The Mammoth Book of True Crime, and many other works of nonfiction and fiction. He died in 2013. Damon Wilson is the author of a number of books including The Crime Archives and The Mammoth Book of Prophecies. He is the coauthor, with Colin Wilson, of The Mammoth Book of the Supernatural. He lives in London, England.
