Few studies have calculated the incidence of second primary melanoma. Previous studies were mainly based on relatively small hospital-based cohorts. Xingqiong Meng graduated from Guangdong Medical College in 1992 and worked as a gynecologist in China until 2002. She obtained her Master degree of Applied Epidemiology in Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia. She is completing her PhD study in 2009.
