Lesley Kay is a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and a practising midwife. This thesis was submitted in partial fulfilment of a Master of Studies degree. Lesley is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire.
