The book is about a failure of a change project and outlines a strategy how new change projects can be implemented successfully. The research project based on a failure of an implementation process in 2005 for a new comprehensive personal development project in a public sector company, and the anticipated success of a similar project in 2009. The research was conducted through 29 interviews with line manager, works council representatives, the CEO and HR department employees. These interviews revealed the problems encountered in 2005 and showed how the company endeavoured to overcome them. During the research, six areas were defined which demonstrated how the public sector company was able to implement the new change project successfully. The defined factors for a successfull change process provide a guidline for other change processes.
