This current book aims to provide a framework of the study. It briefly tackles the issue of ELT context in higher education in Algeria and literature teaching situation at the Algerian Universities in general and the University of Tlemcen in particular. In addition to a brief explanation of some key-terms was presented, it also addressed the research questions and hypotheses, highlighted the purpose and objectives of the study and as it provides the underlying theoretical background on which the present study sits on.
