This paper aims to give an overview of Medical Tourism in Switzerland in providing a description of the status quo and the factors that contribute in making Switzerland a destination for Medical Tourism. The study was initiated due to the lack of existing research and literature on this topic and contradicting definitions on the concept. The key question that this study will address, namely the research question, is the following: What factors have made Switzerland a prestigious destination for Medical Tourism? from the perspectives of luxury clinic managers. This work aims to answer the research question and provide insight on the future of this concept and recommendations for further studies.
