Ha enseñado Matemáticas en los niveles de primaria y secundaria en varias escuelas de Tanzania antes de trasladarse a la Universidad Aga Khan, Instituto para el Desarrollo de la Educación, en África Oriental, donde actualmente trabaja como profesor de educación matemática y aprendizaje del profesorado.
