Robert M. (Bert) Dunkerly is an award-winning author and speaker. He is a park ranger at the Richmond National Battlefield Park and serves on the Preservation Commission for the American Revolution Round Table-Richmond. Dunkerly is the author of over a dozen books including Unhappy Catastrophes: The American Revolution in Central New Jersey, 1776-1782 and Women of the Revolution: Bravery and Sacrifice on the Southern Battlefields.
