Tom Jackson writes on natural history and science and has worked at Jersey Zoo and in Zimbabwe. His works include: Tropical Forest (Raintree) and The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Animals of the World (Southwater). Michael Chinery, consultant, has worked on a number of wildlife magazines, and written and edited definitive field guides.
