This work x-rays narcissism in its various manifestations and draws its implications for the narcissist, his children and the society at large. It also believes along with scholars whose works have been reviewed that there is a positive correlation between narcissism and violence/crime and also that there is a link between narcissism and bad parenting.Based on this, the work holds that the Nigerian military and others with narcissism have to be purged of this damaging disorder for the benefit of the individual themselves, their offspring, paramilitary and the society at large. It contends that narcissism has a part to play in the current economic and social crises of Nigeria, and thus its eradication will invariable boost the economy and strengthen internal social relations.
